What brought you to study in Japan and motivated you to choose Meiji University?
日本への留学を志したきっかけと、明治大学を選んだ理由を教えてください。
Studying and living in Japan has always been a dream of mine. I chose Meiji University because I wanted to do research on NPOs, and they offer classes about this subject taught by professors with knowledge and experiences relevant to my interests.

Where is your favorite place on the campus, and for what reason?
明治大学のキャンパスで好きな場所はどこですか？
I like the lounge in Academy Common because it’s a comfortable place to study, chat with friends, or have a coffee.
Favorite course and the reason why you like it
好きな授業を教えてください。
My favorite course is Human Resource Management taught by Nagahata-sensei. This course gave me the opportunity to improve my facilitation and leadership skills in addition to having meaningful discussions with a diverse group of students.

What is the surprise to you living in Japan?
日本に来て驚いたところは？
This is my 4th time in Japan, so not much surprises me anymore, but I was surprised again at how crowded Tokyo is.
What is the challenge in your student life in Japan, compared to that in your country.
自分の国の学生生活と比べて、日本の学生生活で大変だと感じるところは？
Japan is a small country, so the college campuses are much smaller than in the US. I enjoyed having a large campus to roam around in the US.
What do you enjoy the most in your student life in Japan, compared to that in your country?

Studying in Tokyo is very exciting. People from different backgrounds come to live in Tokyo, and I can expose myself to different ways of thinking.
